Carlos Carlos
Carlos did his accounting degree in Zimbabwe and recently became a member of the UK chartered accounting body ACCA. Carlos is the founder of Consul.
Carlos has worked as Finance Manager and Director in large sized companies in Mozambique, from agriculture to the Oil industry. Carlos other strengths besides accounting and finance is overall management of business and systems implementations.
Lucas Machava
Lucas, is a very experienced qualified Accountant and heads the Accounting division within Consul. Lucas has also served as financial manager in multinational companies such as Selected Suppliers. Companies with large group structures with very rigid reporting procedures and following international standards.
Philip Ashcroft
Philip is a chartered Accountant who started his career with Ernst & Young in the UK as an Auditor before moving to PWC in Angola. Philip then came to Mozambique as Finance Manager for a company in the cotton industry, and then became group CFO for a large agriculture conglomerate in Mozambique. Philip then went back to the cotton industry as General Manager. Philip has international exposure that makes him key to providing best practices for business

Hi! I am
Carlos Correia
I founded Consul in 2016, with initial offices based in Beira, who after having worked as Finance Manager for large sized companies, I found a gap in the market in terms of firms that could provide financial and accounting services to medium to large sized local and international companies by providing world class services.
Initially struggled to find personnel of the right caliber and decided to train talented professionals after understanding that is not easy to find well exposed professionals in Mozambique.
Consul started with Financial and Accounting, but today provides a large spectrum of services aside Accounting and Finance like different types of Consulting, Human Resources and Legal, systems implementation among others and this was achieved by creating a grooming space for its diversified professionals. I have served been in different leadership roles besides Consul, from President of large Clubs to now being the prosperity Consul for the British Government in Mozambique. Our aim is to create a large footprint in Mozambique and neighboring countries providing support in diversified areas to international business by letting them find a one stop shop for all their needs.
